Our many different clients alone make working life at BKS Rechtsanwälte very varied. However, the numerous different tasks and interdisciplinary cooperation with colleagues, which our holistic approach entails, make it even more diversified.

As a sister company of HLB Stückmann, BKS Rechtsanwälte is the tax law firm specialising in the following areas of law:

The BKS team offers its diverse range of specialised tax law advice from a single source. 18 lawyers, most of whom have a dual or triple qualifications, dedicate their enormous expertise to the interests of our clients. In doing so, they rely above all on continuous personal dialogue in order to be able to provide effective advice and develop individually tailored solutions. As a specialist in your field you are particularly called upon to provide key guidance.

To ensure that your ideas and your work are as effective as possible, we do not act according to rigid patterns, but approach our challenges flexibly. In addition, efficient decision-making as well as state-of-the-art digital working methods and processes are further important components for rapid and at the same time sustainable success.

We mainly provide advice to small and medium-sized enterprises, their owners and their families, founders and foreign investors. In addition, as "advisers of advisers", we also provide advice to other tax advisers and public auditors on complex issues of corporate and tax law as well as liability issues. We work for clients throughout Germany and worldwide, with a focus on the region of East Westphalia-Lippe.

A partner will be by your side to determine your next professional steps. This mentor will pick you up at your current stage of development and support you in implementing your personal ideas and visions.

As a newly dual or triple qualified professional, a wide range of professional development opportunities is open to you in the areas of law that we cover. Together with the partner responsible for you, you will determine the path that suits you best.

Based on your strengths and wishes, he or she will show you options for shaping your career step by step. Together you will set important milestones in your desired professional career and determine targeted vocational training and further education modules as well as areas of responsibility and assignment. In addition, your mentor will provide you with helpful feedback on your work in regular intensive appraisal interviews.

Also more experienced dual or triple qualified professionals can make use of the mentoring offer and can thus plan their next steps as a professional with expert support. This includes expanding areas of responsibility and specialist areas of focus, possibly taking further qualifications (e.g. specialist lawyer title), for which we are happy to provide time and financial support, and expanding specialist skills such as acquisition and sales skills, personnel management and development, project management, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurial thinking. In this way, you can develop from being a project leader to a manager to a partner - but only if you want to, because with us there is no "up or out".

We offer you a variety of opportunities to do this, but we are also happy if you initiate the transfer of knowledge yourself - whether internally or beyond the borders of our company.

In order to keep professionally up-to-date, we offer you a wide range of opportunities for digital research in popular professional portals and publications. In addition, all lawyers meet once a week to exchange information on current developments, changes in the law and advisory know-how. In this way, expert knowledge is shared, interpreted and evaluated, prepared for effective use in everyday work and made available to all. Open doors and short communication channels facilitate short-term exchange as well as fast coordination processes. A constantly updated M365 environment for all staff also enables us to interact quickly at any time and to work together in an interdisciplinary way.

In addition to this internal exchange of knowledge, some of our colleagues also take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the external transfer of knowledge.

If you wish, you can do this, for example, through publications in professional journals or editorial work on newsletters on special topics or our client circulars - we will be happy to support you in this. Would you prefer to pass on your knowledge as a speaker? Of course, this is also possible, for example during face-to-face events or webinars for clients and other interested parties. If you already work as a lecturer at a regional university or are striving to do so, we would be happy to make this possible for you and look forward to your further intensification of our networking with the academic sector. In addition, you can take on a tutoring position to support young staff and pass on your know-how to them on the job. This area also includes your involvement in the planning and implementation of internal training programmes.
