Taking on responsibility, setting things in motion
Our work is important to us, because with it we move mountains for our clients. Achieving previously unachievable objectives together with you affirms our actions. It is also a matter of course for us to assume responsibility for others beyond the scope of our professional environment.
The partners and members of staff at HLB Stückmann use their skills to provide wide-ranging support for professional and social projects in the region.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld sponsoring club
With the start of the new Bundesliga season in 2020/21, HLB Stückmann has become an official member of the DSC Arminia Bielefeld sponsoring club. We are looking forward to a successful season!

Dr. Stückmann und Partner Stiftung
Our foundation - the Dr. Stückmann und Partner Stiftung - which was founded in 2007, allows us to dedicate ourselves especially to medium-size family businesses. With our work we wish to accentuate the special significance of medium-size family companies and their value for the people in the region. The foundation also establishes a framework for the targeted exchange of knowledge and ideas. One further important task is the development of tomorrow's qualified specialists.
Project - Raum für Kunst
With the RAUM FÜR KUNST project, HLB Stückmann offers artists from the region the possibility of exhibiting their work in the firm's event facilities. The spacious facilities on the ground floor are regularly used to host internal and external events. These opportunities allow for works of art to be made accessible to the broader public within an appropriate environment.

Bielefelder Bürgerstiftung
"Sometimes things just simply have to be done,
instead of just sitting around talking about them.“
As a member of the management board of the 'Bielefelder Bürgerstiftung', it is my aim to bring together committed individuals. The Bielefelder Bürgerstiftung operates as a network for people who want to achieve great things such as, for example, within education and social development, youth and senior citizen support, or in public healthcare. Our involvement enables the initiation, promotion and coordination of citizens regarding vastly different projects within areas of city life. Our own ability to set things in motion, is what makes us who we are.

Stiftung Studienfonds OWL
"Gifted students will receive support with this programme. This is a great source of inspiration for us, because it means a real contribution to promoting the region and community. For this reason, we strongly recommend this project to everyone. Finding new sponsors remains an important task for the coming years.“

IDW, member of the audit committee
As a member of the audit committee of the IDW, I am keen to represent the interests of my professional group at both a national and international level. The Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (Das Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer in Deutschland e.V. [IDW]) unites auditors and audit companies within Germany on a voluntary basis. Our tasks include the promotion of the areas of auditing activity, the training of tomorrow's professionals and the further education of auditors - as well as, of course, the mutual support of its members. I am also actively involved in the Audit Group of the HLB Network.

University of Bielefeld, Faculty of Economics
"I enjoy being asked the students' challenging questions. It is an enriching experience and continues to deliver new - and often very exciting - perspectives."
As a professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Bielefeld, I am able to shape both lecturing and research. Together with my team I offer my students informed insight into practice. My primary focus is on the areas of company valuation and consolidated accounting methods, as well as adjoining questions posed from the disciplines of taxation and auditing. This activity allows me to support the establishment of a study programme at the University of Bielefeld pursuant to Section 13b of the German Auditors' Ordinance (WPO). These study programmes boast great appeal because, with the WPO accreditation, they fulfil the requirements stipulated by the accreditation ordinance for public accounting examinations. For students this means a shortening of their exam time for the public accountants exam and a faster entry into practice. And for me, it means an extremely interesting challenge

Business competition: Startklar Business Wettbewerb OWL
"HLB Stückmann is supporting the business plan competition."
The objective is to qualify innovative business ideas into feasible business concepts during the competition, and to establish these on the market. The business plan competition startklar Businessplanwettbewerb accompanies its participants from the development of an idea through to a well-conceived business plan.

Chambers of Commerce: IHK Ostwestfalen, IHK Lippe
We believe that professional commitment is very important, even beyond our own company, e.g. with the finance and taxation committee of the Chamber of Commerce (IHK) in Ostwestfalen or with the legal and taxation committee of the Chamber of Commerce (IHK) in Lippe.

StBK Westfalen-Lippe (Münster)
Member of the working group "Steuerrecht und Rechnungslegung" [Tax Law and Accounting]
The tasks originating from this working group are comparable with the activities of the Profit Tax Committee at the Federal Chamber of Tax Advisors. However, they are more strongly focused on practical problems faced by businesses and/or tax advisors. We have developed short expert opinion statements on these topics, which are addressed to the financial authorities and/or the ministry of finance for the state of North Rhine Westphalia, as well as to businesses and the broader political spectrum.

Wirtschaftsjunioren Ostwestfalen e.V.
HLB Stückmann is a member of Wirtschaftsjunioren Ostwestfalen e.V.
The “Wirtschaftsjunioren” are dedicated business entrepreneurs and managers who are under the age of 40. They advocate a social market economy in which the individual capabilities, responsibility for the common good, material wealth and a democratic society are for the benefit of all.
With approx. 200 members and other stakeholders, Wirtschaftsjunioren Ostwestfalen is one of the biggest and most active groups of young business entrepreneurs in Germany. The WJO covers the districts of Gütersloh, Herford and Minden-Lübbecke as well as the city of Bielefeld.
Members exchange experiences with one another and discuss business-related topics in work groups and project groups.
“Bielefelder Edition“
Once a year, the “Bielefelder Edition” presents discoveries from interesting regional cultural, living and working areas. Since 2008 the small, fine volumes have been published as a thread-stitched English brochure in the format 14 x 19.5 cm. With this series, the dedicated team of Bielefeld authors and writers, photographers, graphic designers and printers would like to make a cultural contribution to the people of this city. HLB Stückmann supports this project.
University of Paderborn, Faculty of Economics
As lecturers at the chair for business taxation and the chair for corporate taxation at the University of Paderborn, we are very close to the interface between theory and practice. Giving our students insights into practice and embedding them in a comprehensible and structured manner in a theoretical foundation is an exciting challenge and creates new perspectives for both sides.
