Milestones

Our success story is not over 90 years old, but above all young and geared towards a long future. There are moments and events that the partners and employees at HLB Stückmann like to think back on. Some bring back fond memories, others are milestones in our company history and some even make us a little proud.

1930

1 Employees
Our roots determine what we do. Naturally everyone at HLB Stückmann - despite the traditional East Westphalian reserve - is a little proud of the long time the company has been around, the successes that have been achieved together and the continuous growth that has continued throughout the years.

1932

Foundation of the auditing practice
Dr. Bernhard Stückmann
Dr. Bernhard Stückmann begins his work as one of the first auditors in Germany.

1962

Expansion of the firm
Dr. Bernhard Stückmann (left in the picture) - Robert Feldmann (right in the picture) - Dr. Rudolf Stückmann. The small firm had long since become a medium-sized firm, which nevertheless did not lose its family atmosphere, but cultivated a closeness to clients that was rare in the industry.

1983

Dr. Ulrich Hüttemann was admitted to the firm
Anyone who meets the over 80-year-old Dr. Ulrich Hüttemann at HLB Stückmann today does not get the feeling that he has been a former employee for a long time. The man from the Sauerland region only officially retired in 2019 - at the age of 78! - retired. He was a partner at HLB Stückmann for 40 years, including 20 years as senior partner.

1994

Joining the HLB network
HLB worldwide - once around the globe: over 900 offices in 19 countries with over 32,000 employees (as of 2021)

1996

Change of name to
“Dr. Stückmann und Partner”

1997

Relocation of the company to Elsa-Brändström-Strasse 7
1997 The company moves to Elsa-Brändström-Strasse 7 and has grown to 30 employees.

2007

Foundation of “BKS Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater Wirtschaftsprüfer”

Establishment of the “Dr. Stückmann und Partner Foundation”
The sustainable future of politics and business, and therefore also of family businesses, lies in qualified young talent. The foundation forms a bridge between teaching and practice.

 

2008

Moving into the new extension
With over 75 employees, the company building became too small, which is why everyone was happy about the urgently needed new extension.

Our success story is not over 90 years old, but above all young and geared towards a long future.

2023

Redesign of foyer and lounge
The traditional library gave way to a modern concept: an online library. Our stylish “Stückmann Lounge” was created from the vacated space. Since then, it has been used for breaks, meetings and smaller celebrations.

Modernization of the reception area
Following the successful redesign of the foyer and lounge, the modern style was also extended to our reception area. This continued the uniform, contemporary appearance of our premises.
