HLB Community Day 2024: Together for a good cause

We at HLB Stückmann actively supported the Bahnhofsmission Bielefeld, an important contact point for people who need help - be it because they cannot manage a journey alone, are homeless or suffer from addiction problems. The mission offers support to anyone who needs it.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., we baked fresh waffles at Bielefeld station and distributed them to people in need and travelers. The stories that people told us about their everyday lives made this day even more special.

You would think that the most needy of all people would be happy to receive a free waffle. However, it was precisely these people who were keen to throw some of the money they already had into the donation box. At the end of the day, we collected over 700 euros in donations, which we rounded up to 1,000 euros.

Many thanks to all our colleagues and to the Bielefeld station mission for their support and commitment. It is really impressive how many small and big heroes there are around us.
