First aid in the workplace
can save lives!
The health of our employees is our top priority. For this reason, a first aid course for employees took place in our firm. First aid in case of accidents and life-saving emergency measures such as the recovery position and resuscitation were practised directly on site.
Everyone can quickly and at any time find themselves in a situation where they should provide help or are in need of help themselves. Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung e.V. (DGUV, German Social Accident Insurance) counted more than 870,000 reported accidents at work in 2017. It takes about 8-10 minutes until the ambulance car arrives. What is alarming: Only 10% of all respondents in Germany provide first aid during this period! The decisive factor for this is often the anxiety to do something wrong or the uncertainty as to how to really help properly - because how quickly do we forget how the correct execution of the recovery position or other measures work? In order to refresh the knowledge and show a possibility of how everyone can help, HLB Stückmann has committed itself to the well-being of the employees!
