CrossMentoring OWL helps companies to motivate and develop qualified women so that they take on management responsibilities. In the mentoring process, an experienced female manager, the mentor, helps a young career-minded woman, the mentee, with her personal advice and experience for an agreed period of approx. one year. In the cross-organisation mentoring, the mentor and mentee are from different companies. Their communication is facilitated and complemented by a support and seminar programme.
The cross mentoring was initiated and promoted to begin with by the State Government of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union. To date, over 82 companies with 181 tandems have participated in the cross mentoring in East Westphalia-Lippe. HLB Stückmann was among these companies again this year.
